Alan Jones thought he would never find work again after being made redundant from his job as a civil servant in his fifties. After claiming Jobseekers allowance for 12 months and applying for various posts, Alan was referred to Intraining and put in touch with Mercedes in Wolverhampton, who interviewed and employed him within a matter of days.
“Intraining actually helped me by being there. You feel as though you’re in a raft at sea and there are sharks all around trying to get you. Then someone was there that was actually throwing you a lifeline to help you out.”
– Alan Jones, former Intraining learner
