Rathbone Training is a British youth charity that transforms the lives of young people through learning. With centres in England, Scotland and Wales, Rathbone Training reaches over 10,000 people each year.
Providing programs to improve learners’ Maths and English whilst gaining qualifications and valuable work experience, Rathbone Training also offers apprenticeships in a range of employment sectors and runs specialist provision for young people aged 14+ who are partially or fully-excluded from school.
Rathbone Training runs a number of street-level outreach projects which engage many young people who are not in education, employment or training, and holds the Bronze Fair Train National Quality Standard for work experience and the Matrix Standard for Information, Advice and Guidance.
Ria is currently on a traineeship as a teaching assistant with Rathbone Training. Here she talks about the difference Rathbone Training’s support has made to her.
