Newcastle College Sixth Form Alumni talk to students about women in stem

A big thank you to our alumni Grace and Jennie, along with Clare, who came to talk today about the importance of women in STEM.

A big thank you to our alumni Grace, Jennie and Clare, who came to talk to our learners about the importance of women in STEM.

Students were shown the engineering behind prosthetic hands, and even got to try out working the prosthetics themselves.

Afterwards, students heard about the track each of the women followed to work in STEM careers, followed by a Q&A.
