What have we done so far:

Below you will see the changes we have already made across our colleges, keep checking back to see more updates.

Tree Planting
We have been planting over 500 trees at our Newcastle and West Lancashire campuses to help combat climate change and increase biodiversity.
Eco Campus
We are currently at Silver for the Eco Campus award which is a framework for achieving ISO 14001:2015.
Sixth Form Roof
Newcastle Sixth Form college has a sedum (green roof) across its building, providing both insulation and biodiversity.

We have installed EV charging points at our Carlisle, Newcastle and West Lancashire colleges that are free to use for staff and students.
LED Lighting
We are changing all of our lighting to LED that are more efficient and require less energy.
Energy Management
We use energy management systems along with sensors to ensure we operate our buildings in the most efficient way.
