Hundreds of students from across NCG have been celebrating their success this month, as colleges were able to host graduation ceremonies for the first time in three years.

Graduands from Kidderminster College and Newcastle College University Centre donned their caps and gowns to formally graduate in front of family, friends and special guests in ceremonies held at Kidderminster Town Hall and Newcastle Civic Centre.

Addressing the Class of 2022 in Newcastle, NCG’s CEO Liz Bromley said: “I know very well the significance and occasion of being able to say you are officially a graduate. It is a very special achievement – a huge milestone in your life and a culmination of your hard work and commitment.

“You have achieved your degree in an extraordinary time in our lives – a time when the world seemed to come to a standstill. But the world never actually stopped turning and, despite the odds, you progressed both personally and professionally to achieve something extraordinary yourself.

“I do not underestimate just how challenging that has been for you. As part of the Class of 2022 you have adapted to change, remained focused, driven and dedicated. I know that wherever life takes you, or indeed has already taken you, you are ready to make a mark on the world and impact real change.”

Congratulations to NCG’s Class of 2022!
