Darrell Muir, Digital Learning Manager at NCG, is on the shortlist to be named as one of the TechWomen100 at the Women in Tech Awards in November.
The Women in Tech Awards were launched by WeAreTechWomen in 2017 to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women working in technology.
Nominated by her colleagues at NCG, Darrell was one of more than 1000 women put forward for the TechWomen100 category and was announced as one of the 200 who made it onto the shortlist earlier this month.
Darrell received the news by email from WeAreTechWomen and said it took a while for the news to sink in. She commented: “I was shocked, to be honest. Surprised, humbled and shocked. I never expected to get this far when my colleagues told me they wanted to nominate me. I’m just passionate about technology and want to help my colleagues get the most out of what’s available to them.”
The final TechWomen100 list will be announced on Tuesday 26 September. The winners will then be invited to collect and celebrate their award at a prestigious awards ceremony on 16 November 2023 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane.
