Cat Lewis

Cat is an ambitious educational leader who joined NCG in 2017, after holding senior roles at Heart of Worcestershire College and Stratford upon Avon College. With a genuine passion for empowering students and communities through education, she has been the Principal of Kidderminster College since 2021.

About Cat

Cat holds pivotal positions within regional boards that reflect her commitment to advancing skills education at a broader level.  In addition to her role as Principal, she serves as Vice Chair of the Worcestershire LSIP Board, shaping policies and projects to address skills gaps and the evolving needs of the local workforce.  Her support of initiatives to bridge the gap between education and industry is evident in her role as the Further Education representative on the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership Board, where she actively contributes to discussions and decisions that impact the economic and educational landscape of the region.

Known for her collaborative approach, Cat has fostered purposeful partnerships between Kidderminster College and various stakeholders, including businesses, government agencies and community organisations.  Her specialist interest in curriculum and quality management is supported by a track record in student experience and engagement. She greatly enjoys the strategic work she coordinates across NCG as Executive Lead for skills enhancement, with the aim of supporting students to develop the skills necessary to fulfil their potential and thrive in the future.
