Christian joined NCG in 2021, serving as Vice Principal at Carlisle College and developing a deep understanding of the transformative power of education, before his appointment as Principal of West Lancashire College in 2025.
About Christian
Prior to joining NCG as Vice Principal of Carlisle College in 2021, Christian's career in FE spanned more than 20 years. His roles at Kirklees College and Leeds College included Head of Faculty and Curriculum Lead.
Through his roles at Carlisle College and West Lancashire College, Christian has a deep understanding of the important role that NCG's colleges play in the local community and is committed to continuing West Lancashire College's success as an anchor in the region.
Christian’s journey through every level of FE, from teaching to senior leadership, has been driven by a passion for inclusive learning and student success. Diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD as an adult, he’s a vocal advocate for neurodiversity and adaptive teaching.
